As a group of private Canadians, three founding partners are putting together this not-for-profit venture looking to electronically survey and document known Canadian World War I and II battlefields using remote sensing and GIS technology.
The objective is to preserve our Canadian “place in time and location” while preventing future changes in land use. They feel it is incumbent on them to preserve our history and our battlefields as well as potentially finding some of our lost heroes who perished without the benefit of a known grave.
